By accessing or using Glass Notes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Glass Notes is a digital note-taking and learning platform that allows users to:

• Capture photos of notes, whiteboards, and study material
• Have those photos delivered to their signed-in browser
• Copy photos to the clipboard for use in other applications

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Glass Notes ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malware or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our consent
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Cost and Retention

Glass Notes is currently free to use. Please note that:

• Uploaded photos are temporary and expire automatically
• The Service is not intended as a backup of your photos
• We may apply reasonable usage limits to keep the Service stable

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Glass Notes and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request export of your data before account deletion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glass Notes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden. For EU consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
